Dec. 11, 2017, Victoria, BC, Canada – The David Foster Foundation welcomes the GAIN Group of Companies on Vancouver Island as their newest Life Legacy member, following an extension of their funding relationship to the 10-year, $1 million dollar mark.

The GAIN Group of Companies entered into a four-year funding agreement with the David Foster Foundation in 2015 and, late this year, extended the agreement to 2024. The ongoing financial assistance will allow the Foundation to support the non-medical expenses of dozens of Canadian families undergoing life-saving pediatric organ transplants.

“We are incredibly blessed to have the support of a dynamic and growing organization like GAIN, allowing us to partner and engage with the community at major annual events, visitors to the region staying at the magnificent Villa Eyrie Resort, and those who are members of the Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit,” says Michael Ravenhill, CEO of the David Foster Foundation. “The David Foster Foundation team is looking forward to continuing this relationship for years to come.”

Throughout the first three years of the relationship, members of the GAIN Group of Companies and the David Foster Foundation partnered to engage with the southern Vancouver Island community at various events including National Organ & Tissue Donor Awareness Week (April), the Island Farms Victoria Day Parade (May), and the annual Motor Gathering at the Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit (August).

“We are very grateful to have the David Foster Foundation as a community partner of the GAIN Group and for allowing us to be a part of making a difference in the lives of Canadian families during some of the hardest times their families have to face. We are excited and honoured to be making this difference with you,” Dr. Sylvester Chuang, GAIN Group of Companies. “We strive every day to give our clients and guests the best service we are able to give. Being able to support our communities and helping people in their time of need is the most rewarding result of our teams’ hard work.  We look forward to many years of partnership together.”
