2. Giftabulator & Planned Giving
The David Foster Foundation is introducing a new, easy to use, illustrative web app on our website for you to learn how powerful your donation can be. It’s called Best Ways to Give and it enables you to immediately see the tax credit available for your donation to the David Foster Foundation.
This online program will take you through three options in regards to Give Now, Give Later, and Endowment. These options are located on the top right tabs of the program. In addition to showing you the Tax Credit, as a result of a cash donation, we want to show you how you can actually reduce your tax on various assets –stocks, mutual funds, RRSPs/RRIFs and real estate (non-principal residence), through your planned donation.
A planned gift is typically a charitable donation which can be arranged as part of your overall financial and estate plan. This financial donation is not available to the David Foster Foundation until sometime in the future.

8. The gift of arts & valuables
As a result of a special partnership with Waddington’s, Canada’s premier auction house since 1850, you can donate art and valuables with the corresponding funds generated from the sales as a tax receipt donation from the David Foster Foundation.
“I want people to remember all the families whose lives were changed, all the children who lives were saved because of what the David Foster Foundation does. My music is simply how I communicate; the children are how I hope to be remembered.”
