July 8, 2015, Victoria, BC – Tickets for individual stadium seating are now on sale for the star-studded David Foster Foundation Miracle Gala & Concert, taking place on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015 at the Mattamy Athletic Centre at the Gardens and featuring David Foster, Stevie Wonder, Michael Bolton, Peter Cetera, Kiesza, and Sinbad.

Only 2,000 seats within the bowl section of the Mattamy Athletic Centre are available for purchase and range in price from $99.50 to $299.50. Tickets may be purchased through www.ticketmaster.ca (event link: http://www.ticketmaster.ca/event/10004ED015BCA860) and are only valid for the concert portion of the evening, with doors opening at 8:30 p.m.

“When we hosted our 25th anniversary Miracle Gala & Concert in Victoria, BC, in 2012, one of the best parts of the evening was the opportunity to open the stadium seating to individual ticket sales,” says Michael Ravenhill, CEO of the David Foster Foundation. “We’re delighted that our venue for the 2015 Miracle Gala & Concert in Toronto will allow us to recreate this memorable experiences for an additional 2,000 guests, adding to the concert feel for the Mattamy Athletic Centre at the Gardens.”

The funds raised from the annual event go towards the Foundation’s 30 x 30 campaign, where they aim to raise $30M by their 30th anniversary in 2017. The David Foster Foundation supports the non-medical expenses of families with children undergoing life-saving pediatric organ transplants. Non-medical expenses range from mortgage, rent, and car payments to airline tickets, groceries, parking, and gas. The average cost to support one family for a year is $10,000, but total family support may reach upwards of $100,000. Often, families have to travel away from home and set up temporary housing close to one of the pediatric transplant hospitals in Canada. Since its inception, the Foundation has worked to assist 1,000 families across Canada.

Close to 900 guests will be attending the gala portion of the evening, seated at tables of 10 on the stadium floor. Tables were purchased for $20,000 or $30,000 and are now sold out for the 2015 event. This portion of the evening includes a gourmet meal, Sponsor a Family call for charitable donations, and live auction. Stadium seating guests will arrive at their seats during this portion of the evening.

The David Foster Foundation has also launched Operation: Registration to recruit Canadians to help them create a public service announcement video (PSA) (30 – 90” in length) to be unveiled at the David Foster Foundation Miracle Gala & Concert in Toronto on Sept. 26, 2015. The winning entrant will receive two tickets to the gala, airfare, and accommodation in Toronto. The deadline for submissions is Friday, July 31, 2015.
