David Foster Foundation Announces Update to 40th Anniversary Victoria Harbour Concert
Victoria, BC, July 22, 2026 – The David Foster Foundation today announced that the Victoria Symphony unfortunately will not be accompanying David Foster and Friends at the Foundation’s free 40th Anniversary Victoria Harbour Concert.
David Foster remains dedicated to bringing a free, world-class concert to the City of Victoria in celebration of the David Foster Foundation’s 40th Anniversary. This special evening is our way of thanking the community that has supported the Foundation for four decades while celebrating the thousands of Canadian families whose lives have been touched through the Foundation’s work.
Audiences can look forward to an unforgettable evening featuring more than 10 internationally acclaimed artists, extraordinary performances, and numerous exciting surprises throughout the night. From beginning to end, the Harbour Concert promises to be an inspiring celebration of music, generosity, and community.
“We are committed to delivering an exceptional experience for everyone attending,” said David Foster. “This concert is about bringing people together through music, and we can’t wait to share an incredible evening with the people of Victoria.”
One thing has not changed: this concert is happening, it is free, and it will be one of the most exciting live entertainment events Victoria has ever experienced. This is a night you won’t want to miss.
Additional announcements and event details will be released soon.

ABOUT THE DAVID FOSTER FOUNDATION:
The David Foster Foundation is a Canadian non-profit charitable organization founded by sixteen-time Grammy Award-winning producer David Foster. For 40 years, the Foundation has provided financial support for non-medical expenses to families of children undergoing major organ transplants. This assistance helps cover essential costs such as mortgage or rent, travel, utilities, and groceries. Support is available for children under nineteen, starting from the moment they are listed for a pediatric transplant and continuing through all post-operative checkups.
Since its founding, the Foundation has assisted over 1,600 families, thanks to the generosity of Life Legacy Members, National Partners, and Community Partners, as well as innovative giving programs like the donation of Avion Rewards and Aeroplan miles.
The success of the David Foster Foundation would not be possible without the generous support of our Life Legacy Members: Argyros Family Foundation, AWIN Group of Dealerships, Blackfin, Bonnie Buhler, Cheryl and Haim Saban, Dr. Stacie and Richard Stephenson, George Vassallo and Christine Cole, Greenwood Gaming & Entertainment, James Wilson & Vivian Roy, Jim Pattison, Jim & Sandi Treliving, Joan & Paul Waechter, Jonathan D. Fischer Foundation, Kyle MacDonald & John Franklin, Newton Glassman Charitable Foundation in Partnership with Catalyst Capital Group, Paragon, TELUS, The Anschutz Foundation, The Slaight Family Foundation, The Waugh Family Foundation, Walter & Maria Schneider, and Walter Scott Family Foundation.
We are also proud to be supported by our National Partners: Air Canada Foundation, Aird & Berlis LLP, ALLVISION, and Purolator.
Strengthening our impact within the communities we serve are our valued Community Partners: Boston Pizza International, DeerFields Clinic, Gib-San Pool & Landscape Creations, StayWell Patient Accommodations, The Hillyard Stephen Group at RBC Dominion Securities, Tom Lee Music, and Victoria Marriott Inner Harbour. Beyond financial assistance, the Foundation is a leading advocate for organ donor awareness and registration in Canada and the United States.
